What Is Drone Day?
From https://droneday.org/…
Drone Day is a global celebration of drone, sustained sounds, ambient worlds, tone clusters, and the communities who choose to make them. Every year we make a noise together that stretches around the world.
Drone Day was dreamed by MCLF of Weird Canada and vibrated into existence by communities and droners around the world.
Back in 2002, member Michael O’Bannon suggested we participate. We’ve been hosting livestream to celebrate Drone Day since and had 19 submissions last year.
Thanks
Big thanks to members Langdon Crawford who is doing some heavy lifting on the planning and video editing side to prepare submissions for streaming, and Victoria Lundy of https://cuttlefisharts.com/ for show artwork.
