There are quite a few upcoming events in the Boulder / Denver community at large most of which include Rocky Mountain Synth Meet members so I thought I’d pass them along.
Friday, Oct. 22nd | 7-10pm MDT | Space Gallery, Denver | r beny, Tim Held, Gerald Fjord, The Aefonic, ALX-106, Sine Mountain Concert. Visuals by Mark Mosher. $15. Seating is limited so grab them now.
Proof of vaccination is required to attend, and masks are recommended.
Friday, Oct. 29th | 5-9pm MDT | The Museum of Boulder | The Museum of Boulder for the Opening Reception of our newest Exhibit Boulder Experiments in Art and Technology (B.E.A.T) “Convivial Machines”. $20 includes (1) Quesadilla, Exclusive access to B.E.A.T, Live music performed by DJ Musa. I’m an exhibitor and have a few vides included in the installation. Organizers mentioned I could share the discount code with the RMSM members which will get you $5 off admission. Code is EXHIBITOR.
I didn’t see COVID requirements on invite (following up with organizer) although museum indicates “We require facial coverings that cover the nose and mouth at all times for visitors ages 2 and up.” and list safety measures here Visit | Plan Your Visit – Museum Of Boulder.
Saturday, Oct. 30th | 9pm-2am MDT| The Black Box, Denver | Sub.mission presents: Richard Devine w/ ALX-106, Gerald Fjord, The Aefonic, Noise Diffraction. Starts at $20 (plus service charge).
Entry requirements:- vaccine card:currently, proof of at least one dose is acceptable. Name on vaccine card must match name on id or – negative test:test must be done prior to arriving to venue. Paper tests preferred. Receipt of purchase within 72 hours of arriving to venue.
Tuesday, Nov 9th is usual cadence for Freq Boutique at Fort Greene. No link for that event yet. They don’t seem to have any COVID Guidelines.

Friday, Nov 12th | 5:30-7pm MDT | Denver Performing Arts Complex, Buell Theater Lobby and Balcony | Art + Music Balcony Series: HERE again STILL Opening Reception. In partnership with Denver Arts Week, Denver Arts & Venues invites you to the opening reception of HERE again STILL, an exhibition featuring the works of artists Sharon Feder and Dallas Parkins. This FREE opening exhibition will feature a special live performance by local synthesist, electronic musician, and multimedia artist Mark Mosher. All patrons 12+ must be fully vaccinated. Children under the age of 12 must instead provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. All audience members ages 2+ must wear masks unless actively enjoying refreshments. Event is free but registration is required.

That’s a whole lot of exciting events. I’m hoping lots of folks will support and turn out in person for as many as possible. It’s always great to see friends, especially from the synth community.
