Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable, respected, and included 💝!!!
Here are some friendly guidelines for Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet events to help maintain a positive atmosphere for all:
Core Conduct Guidelines:
Keep it Light, Positive, and About Synths: We’re here to connect, get inspired, learn, and have fun! Discussions about politics or controversial topics are off-limits. Keep the atmosphere relaxed and PG-13. Focus on sharing your enthusiasm for synthesizers and constructive experiences.
Treat Everyone with Courtesy: Do not mock or imitate others’ speech, accents, or mannerisms. No harassment, hate speech, or bullying. No remarks or jokes about cultures, religions, race, gender, age, personal attributes, financial circumstances, or experience level. Remember that even well-intentioned jokes may be unwelcome.
Respect Personal Boundaries: Be mindful of personal space and boundaries and respect each person’s different comfort levels. Keep others’ personal information private and be mindful about oversharing your own personal details. No commenting on appearances or flirting—this isn’t a dating space.
Share and Contribute Thoughtfully: Share group discussion speaking time by keeping your contributions concise and allowing others to participate.
Artistic Feedback: Support and encourage artists, but only provide specific feedback when they ask for it.
If you’re unsure about something, please feel free to contact us. We’re all here to learn and grow together.
