Submission Rules
- Only Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet Members in good standing who have attended at least one event since 2022 can submit a video.
- Sound, Music, and Video elements must be 100% original content or content you have licensed for use on YouTube (such as Royalty Free elements).
💡 This can be as simple as an overhead view of you playing your rig or setting your music to some other original video recording or generative video. - Video can be up to 7 minutes in length. We are sticking with the “leave them wanting more” model.
- Most formats will work, H264 .MP4 is recommended.
- Keep it fun for the general audience, as in nothing explicit, religious, political.
- The video should start with A title card or titles containing “Song Name” and “Artist Name”
- High quality audio recorded directly from your rig or nice room mics if possible. Try to avoid the original audio from your camera.
- Submission will be through web form with submission through Dropbox.
- Naming convention “ArtistName_SongName.mp4”. Example “MarkMosher_ILoveMusic.mp4”.
Offset Streaming and Other Overhead Costs
Hosting this stream with Streamyard will cost us $49. If you would like to offset these costs and other overhead such as our Zoom Pro plan that is coming due, web hosting, nametags, etc… please consider a donation.
