- 7:00–8:30 PM — DINNER, DRINKS & CONVERSATION: Join us in the upstairs back dining room at Clancy’s Irish Pub in Wheat Ridge—Colorado’s oldest Irish pub. Enjoy a full pub menu with a from-scratch kitchen, bar, and variety of beers. Separate checks available. Park on the west side or behind the venue and use the back entrance. - 8:30–10:30 PM — GROOVEBOX INVASION PERFORMANCES: We’ll head to the basement for electronic music performances, drinks, and mingling. Rocky Mountain Synth Members who want to perform will play back-to-back sets (indicate interest when you RSVP). Each set is up to 7 minutes long using a single-machine groovebox or small rig.
Player Guidelines and Logistics
If you’re interested in performing, please indicate this when you RSVP. Slots are limited to 12 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Here’s what to expect:
- Eligibility: Members in good standing who have attended 2+ events. 21+
- Time & Format: Performances begin at 8:30 PM in the basement. Each set is up to 7 minutes long. Performance order is determined by sign-in.
- Equipment Requirements: Setup and teardown must be under 2 minutes. Bring a compact rig (Elektron, Deluge, MPC, iPad, small desktop or Eurorack etc…) with 1/4″ stereo out that fits on a 48″ × 24″ table.
- Provided Equipment: Power strip (4 outlets), Zoom L6max Mixer (shared), Bose L1 Compact PA (mono)
- Musical Style: All genres and skill levels welcome. Focus on groove-oriented music and keep content PG-13.
