Join us for our 162nd event on Wednesday, October 29th from 7-9pm at the Junkyard Social Club in Boulder for a free concert featuring Halloween-themed groovebox performances by Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet members.
Each performer will use a single machine or small rig setup for these rapid-fire performances, showcasing members playing short, back-to-back sets with Halloween vibes.
Attendees and performers can enjoy drinks and small bites from the Junkyard Social Club’s cafe https://junkyardsocialclub.org while listening to live music and mingling with like-minded synth enthusiasts.
The venue is being donated by Junkyard Social Club, so please come hungry and thirsty 🍸🍺.
Costumes are encouraged 👻.
The event is FREE, but RSVPs are much appreciated.

Player Logistics
- Sets: Sets are up to 7 minutes. Bring a show clock of some sort so you finish on time to respect time of other performers. All styles welcome. Halloween vibes appropriate and fun for a general audience.
- Alternating Slots: While one performer plays, another will be setting up to ensure smooth transitions between sets. Bring a rig you can set up quickly.
- Arrival: The event runs from 7–9 PM. There’s an event before ours, so we won’t have the room until 6:30. No need to arrive early. We’ll kick off performances at 7:15, so players earlier in the lineup should aim to arrive by 7.
- Tables: I’ll have two Gator Frameworks x-stands with 32″ x 18″ tabletops. Bring a single machine or very small rig that will fit on one of those table tops.
- Power: I’ll have a power strip between the tables.
- Mixer and Cables: One of the tables will have a Zoom L6. If you have a cable to get from your rig terminating in 1/4″, you’ll be all set.
- PA: Eddie is kindly bringing two Bose S1s and an Eris 8″ sub, which sound great in that room.
