About Moray Firth Synthesizer Club (MFSC) and This Collaboration
With members from in and around the Moray Firth area, the MFSC is an active group which takes part in varied events throughout the year.
The MFSC was set up online during the pandemic with members performing songs and demonstrating synthesizers, drum machines, and electronic music techniques on regular Zoom sessions. Members regularly meet in person, try out each other’s synthesizers, listen to each other play and usually jam together. The online and live sessions continue and anyone with an interest in electronic music or who is keen to learn, both local and further afield, are welcome to join.

MFSC also participates in International Drone Day (https://droneday.org/), an annual celebration of experimental sounds.
It was through this that the club met the Rocky Mountain Synth Meet and discovered that despite the great distance, not to mention the time zones, they had a lot in common.
As a result they have been swapping ideas musically and otherwise which have resulted in this first concert.
We’ll talk more about this collaboration at the top of the meeting.
I hope to see you there.
